Every teacher at Muse is trained and mentored in The Acosta Approach, created by Anthony David Acosta - international Movement and Pilates educator. This collaboration exclusive to Brussels, offers two deeply rooted movement concepts : MA’AT and Reformer.
While sharing the same method, each instructor brings their own area of expertise to support and guide every client.
The Acosta Approach,
by Anthony David Acosta
The Acosta Approach is a movement methodology created by Anthony David Acosta, shaped by his background in martial arts, musical theatre, dance, yoga, and Pilates.
Growing up in a New York dojo with a Muay Thai champion father developed his strong dedication to movement from an early age.
The method combines physical challenge with artistic grace, precision, and intention.
Being guided by an Acosta Approach teacher means being pushed to your physical limits while receiving detailed cues, corrections, and personalized guidance.
Through rhythm, music, and collective movement, students experience a sense of connection and support within the room. The practice aims to develop strength, mobility, body awareness, and a deeper connection between the physical and emotional self.
By learning to move with intention and expression, students leave feeling more aligned, clear, and grounded. Each session is guided by attention to detail, expression, breath, and a commitment to helping people move with confidence and take up space.
The Acosta Approach has been practiced and loved by thousands of students and teachers across America, the Middle East, and Europe. Since relocating to Brussels in 2023, Anthony Acosta has become a recognised leader in reformer and mat concepts, introducing group Reformer Pilates and Mat to the city.
