Reformer and mat Pilates
The Discovery Pass is two classes for €50. One on the Reformer, six people to a class. One MA'AT on the mat. Take the first when it suits you, the second within seven days.
What you are booking
Two rooms, two ways of moving
The pass includes one class in each, because they do different things. Most people prefer one of the two. A week is enough to find out which.
One session
Reformer
Classical Pilates on Balanced Body Reformers, read through modern biomechanics. Six people to a class, which is the number at which a teacher can still see and correct everyone. Three levels, from a first class to advanced work, and you start at the one that matches where you are.
One session
MA’AT or Hot MA’AT
A rhythm based mat practice created by Anthony David Acosta and taught only at Muse in Brussels. You move to a tempo instead of counting repetitions. There are no levels, so a first timer and a regular sit in the same room and take the same class. It is also taught heated, as Hot MA'AT, with infrared panels.
Is it for you
The Discovery Pass
What €50 covers
One Reformer class in Room I, at the level you choose
Class one
One MA'AT class in Room II, heated or not
Class two
Your pass is valid for 7 days from the date of your first class.
Seven days
You have 3 months to activate your pass before it expires.
3 months to begin
Limited to one Discovery Pass per client.
One per person
Booked separately, the same two classes come to €70.
The seven day gap is deliberate. The Reformer and the mat do different things, and one week is enough to feel which one you want to come back to.
Same door
Class at nine. Coffee at ten.
Muse Café is in the same building, so the morning does not have to end when the class does. Filter, espresso, bagels, and somewhere to sit for a while.

Questions we get asked
-
Either one. If you would rather have the machine guide the movement, start with the Reformer at beginner level. If you would rather stay on the mat and follow a rhythm, start with MA'AT. You will take the other one within the week anyway.
-
Clothes you can move in, and grip socks for the Reformer. Mats and towels are here. Changing rooms are on site.
-
Yes, with guidance. Tell us at booking so the teacher knows where you are in the process and can adapt the class.

A mat practice built on rhythm, created by Anthony David Acosta and taught only at Muse in Brussels. You follow a tempo rather than count repetitions, which changes how the work feels and how long you hold it. There are no levels. The heated version, Hot MA'AT, runs in Room II with infrared panels.
-
Seven days from your first class to take the second. You can wait up to three months after buying it before that first class. One pass per person, and it is not refundable.
-
Class packs and memberships. There is nothing to decide during the pass, and nobody will ask you at the end of a class. Everything is on the site, or you can ask at the studio.
